I’ve been doing some research on travel opportunities for graduate students, and I joyously discovered that Columbia has international affiliate programs all around the world. The ones that interest me the most are in either New Delhi or Buenos Aires. This is far into the future, but I thought I’d keep it in my sights, and as long as I’m willing to work hard and fight, I know India and Argentina are reachable prospects. And the internships will also give me a chance to see somewhere new and understand different environments, both of which are important standards to becoming a travel writer.
